Our Process

Step One

Head to our contact us page on our website www.bearwoodbuilding.com.au and fill in your details.

We will then send you a quick questionnaire for you to complete regarding your project. It will give us a better idea if we can help you with your project. Please send us all documentation that you have,

for example:

 Architectural working drawings,

Engineering,

Soil report,

Fixtures and fittings list.

Step Two

We'll reach out to you with any questions we may have based on your questionnaire and the documents you have provided.

We will then send you a feasibility report for your project. This will give you a basic price range. If your budget works within the price range, we will then organise an onsite assessment.

Step Three

We'll talk about your wish list at the onsite project assessment and offer some advice. Then, we will go through our construction process, document checklist and a Demo of our online platform Buildertrend. The online platform gives you access to daily logs, schedules, progress pics and more.

Step Four

Once we have your final working drawings, structural engineering, fixtures and fittings schedule and any other relevant documents, our estimator will put together a detailed quote.

Please allow 4-6 weeks for this process.

Step Five

The next step is for you to look over and approve the quote.

Once the quote is approved, we will create a Building contract.

Our registration details, the builder's warranty insurance, and the signed contract are sent to your chosen Building surveyor, who will issue the Building permit.

If you are using bank finance, this will need to be organised 2-3 months before construction commences.

Step Six

Once the Building permit is issued, and the deposit has been paid, the Pre-construction phase starts.

Time for you to move out and for us to get to work.

All furniture and belongings are to be removed from the site.

We send out letters to your neighbours letting them know about the upcoming works.

A dilapidation report is completed.

Site security camera, fencing and signage are installed.

Your log-in details for the online portal are created.

Step Seven

The construction stage begins.

Daily Logs

 Progress photos

Quality assurance checklist

Are all updated via the online portal, along with onsite meetings.

Step Eight

All construction is complete.

A final certificate of completion is issued by the Building surveyor.

Step Nine

The best step of all...

Enjoy your new space.
